- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Terrible, terrible. We ended up paying back to the IRS and the State of Michigan over $2000 dollars because they failed to put my husbands income on the tax return. Now what is the first line on any tax return?? We went through every step we could to recoup our funds. We were ignored, lied to many times. NO, NO,NO!!!! We did not pay for the peace of mind, which is really their peace of mind as you give them $40.00 (a profit) and then if there agents make a mistake they MAY pay you back. Ours was just pure stupidly, how can you fail to include the income? It was done by them, they filed amended returns, but, they will not refund our loss at their mistake. It's a good profit for them, you pay 40 at a profit and they are covered either way.H & R Block and their "Peace of Mind" is only for their peace of mind. They make $40.00 for each person who pays for the peace of mind, yet they advertise they will get you the most money. Lies, all of it. They ripped us off for over $2000.00, They just happen to forget to add my husbands income. The first line of any tax form. They filed the amended returns, but, refuse to recoup our loses based on their mistake. Totally unreal. We had to use this years taxes and borrow to pay the IRS and State back. We are retired and on a fixed income. Taxes are usually used for propane and meat for the winter. Please repost this so others don't fall for the same lines we did.By Pat Mckenzie, August 03, 2017
